The most challenging question every new on-line aspiring marketer asks “What product or service should I sell over the internet?” I would suggest that a great way to start would be a visit to your local book store. Spend a few hours looking thru the magazine section where you will find hundreds of potential niche markets.

Once you have selected an area of interest, look at each of the magazines within that section. Study the display ads, the classified ads, and the articles within the magazine to generate a list of potential ideas for products or services.

For example, I recently picked out a Better Homes and Garden magazine and came up with a food item which was featured as a healthy snack item. People are always looking for ways to improve their health while at the same time loose weight. In addition, this product tied in with a national awareness campaign for women about heart disease.

Next, go to the overture search term tool and begin researching the demand for your product or service. Determine if anyone else is interested in your niche product from the total searches of related keywords done in the previous month. If there are sufficient numbers, then procede. Think in terms of other items which you could market which would compliment your original product.

If you get the green light from the steps taken so far, then move forward to locate a supplier. With thousands of affiliate programs available, there is a very good chance that you will be able to find the product you intend to market.

This is a brief overview of one strategy which you can use to begin your internet marketing journey….Best of luck

Blog Marketing Author : Brian Grinonneau
Blogging is main stream. The White House Press Office considers bloggers journalists. Companies like domain giant Go Daddy use blogs to send their marketing message into the viral stratosphere. Blogs can be the rantings of left wing lunatics, rock stars, opinion makers, or business icons. How about blogs penned by country club wives' investment clubs. Name a topic of interest and there's a blog to go with it. The question for the forward thinking...

Allow Me to Give You a Shove Author : Victoria Taus
February is all about relationships. This February I made good on a promise to my husband I kept putting off – a winter vacation. So, we packed a couple of swimsuits and our relationship and went to Costa Rica -no cell towers, no internet connections. While we were there, I just couldn’t stop being “me” as my husband calls it. “You’re a people pusher,” he said. People pusher? Wasn’t sure I liked that. Explain please. “You are a people pu...

How To Have The Time To Do What You Want To Do Author : Robert Paul Williams
How To Have The Time To Do What You Want To Do Ask anybody if they have enough time and most will say no. Why? Because most people are slaves. Slaves to their jobs. Slaves to their employers. They are not masters of their own time. We are all conditioned to getting as good an education as possible and then looking for the best playing job that we can get and working at it sometimes for the rest of our useful lives. Most of the time our job takes ...

Pushy Pop-Ups Shown the Dumpster, er, the Door… Author : Robert K. Blanc
It’s an acknowledged fact that internet users, by and large, and especially those who shop online, are savvy, and becoming increasingly so with each passing day. But what is less acknowledged, mostly to the detriment of advertisers and sellers pushing their wares, is that they’re also fed-up with the petty annoyances that obstruct their direct path to the information and products they seek. Whereas previously these internet devotees merely shrugg...

3 Copywriting Tips - How To Edit For Mass Appeal! Author : Daniel Levis
Web copy that's intended to sell or generate leads needs to quickly reach out and grab attention and build rapport with a target audience. You can connect with your audience more effectively if you understand something about how people process information, and how they think. Every one of us is constantly sorting, distorting, and generalizing what we perceive, just to stay sane. As a result, different people see the world differently. You proba...

It's More Than Bread And Milk Author : Brian Grinonneau
If you want to write copy that makes your prospects sit up and take notice, look no further than the headlines on the magazines in the supermarket checkout rack. Odd as it may seem, there are some real similarities to the cashier’s lane and your business. The headline writers, like you, have limited time to (A) grab the potential customers’ attention, and (B) encourage them to select their offering over all the other choices. Magazine headline wr...
