EBooks as a low investment product: An eBay members dream

There have been many millions made off of eBay, and all too often the ones making the millions of dollars are not selling physical products of any kind. When one first thinks of eBay, and becoming a retailer, it is usually a fantasy that goes something like this; I will make thousands of dollars selling my favorite items. For each person the particular item will be different. Some love cars, others love clothing, and some people have a thing for movies. Whatever your passion is, I'm here to say stop, and don't sell it, instead sell eBooks online.
You might not be happy with the notion of selling eBooks, otherwise known as information products online, but it will be the most profitable choice you make as an eBayer. Take it from a powerseller of tangible goods; eBay is very hard to turn a profit with selling hard goods. I've sold clothing, music, DVD's, ipod's, and even books, all have left me with high sales, and poor profit margins.
The case can be made that if you actually produce a product you can make money on eBay selling it. This is true, if you make hand knit rugs for a living, you might be able to sell those on eBay for more then you paid. But if you're like me, or any of us that work a regular job, you most likely won't make any profit off of selling tangible goods. Why, you might ask? The answer is that eBay is the number one place online to sell goods, and the competition is fierce. Just think of an idea for a product you want to sell on eBay, and then search for it on the site. Watch as thousands of listings pop up, all selling for less then what you would have to pay just to buy your goods! The smartest thing you can do is invest in inventory that has a very low cost, and high profit potential, eBooks.
EBooks are electronic files of information that are sold, and resold online to consumers around the world. EBooks are hardly just novels, and biographies. Today eBooks cover more categories then even traditional books, and cost next to nothing to purchase. You can purchase the resale rights of a popular eBook for less then twenty dollars, and sell it as many times as hundreds of thousands for profit each time. If you look at some of the richest people online, you will see they sell eBooks on eBay as a way to make the bulk of their money. Don't you want to join the rich, or are you so in love with that tangible good that you wanted to sell that you're willing to lose money to sell it? The answer is simple, if you want to make money online, sell eBooks on eBay.
